Aloha
My name is Rahel, I was born on July 27th, 1987, I love the sun, the sea and the beach. I am a cheerful person who likes to laugh often.
My story
I discovered my passion for yoga after a serious accident. I broke my foot when I fell off my skateboard and was brutally forced to put all my active hobbies on hold. Before that, I was always on the move, there always had to be "something going on" and I never really got to relax.
My great passion is surfing, in the sea and in the wave pool. But unfortunately, both were out of the question for a long time.
Because of the accident, life forced me to calm down and come to terms with myself. The physical pain was far less tragic than the emotional one. Since I was in danger of falling into a deep hole, I needed something to help me cope with this situation. So began my journey as a "yogini", in which I found myself through meditation and gentle physical exercises. Because, despite injury, there are always alternatives to practicing yoga.
This path was not always easy or pleasant, but that is exactly what "life" is like so often. Not everything is always beautiful and wonderful, there are often bad days and it has not always been easy for me to laugh and be in a good mood.
Yoga helps me so much to accept the ups and downs of life and to find and maintain my own balance within it. Yoga has taught me so much gratitude.
A good friend said to me: "Everything happens for a reason. You may not see the meaning yet, but it is there." And she was right... everything that has happened to me in my life so far has made me the person I am today. Because of, or rather thanks to, this accident, I became a yoga teacher.
I would like to share this gratitude, my knowledge and my joy of life and pass it on to my students.
